Albanian-English Dictionary

This website is an online dictionary that lets users translate words between English and Albanian. The words are divided into different categories. Multiple translations of each word are available depending on their part of speech (e.g noun, verb, pronoun etc).

This project involved extraction of data from a scanned PDF document. The extracted data was processed and compiled to finalize the database. The processing included verification of words/definitions, deletion of invalid words and assigning categories. The website design is simple, uncluttered and mobile friendly.

Through a user-friendly admin control panel, the dictionary can be managed. New words can be added and existing ones can be modified.
